diferent matherial gear would be nice so we can choose , transparent gear covers is also nice so we can see the dust inside (it should not be there by the way but it does come in lol) the rest of transparent parts makes no sense, they look so toy

I hope they have re-done the mold for those new gear covers, the standard one's are crap

Ok that is SOOOOO HOT!

Where did you get those parts from? Or is that an EVO 4?

As far as I know the L-parts of the Evo 4 cannot fit onto the Evo5, I would also love to get a front Alu diff gear, but apparently the meshing is not the same .

hmm.... if someone has tried the gear covers and noticed it keeps more crap out, i am in for this... i am sick of rebuilding the rear differential. i would be happy if they could make it nearly air tight....

i agree with everyone else.. the other plastics don't make a lot of sense, and i think it makes my evo5 look bad.

Mazda 6 body, that is the standard wing. Tamiya to my knowledge don't make the Mazda 6 body. However if you are looking for it, you can get it here: http://nexusracing.net/index.php?cPa...bdeee5488ce9fd

Hope that helps!

Thats not a Mazada6.... looks more like a JGTC/SuperGT Nissan 350z/fairlady z. Look at the rear arches... and the fact that it's a coupe body (window line).

Hey TB Evo 5 Guys; I plan on getting a TB Evo 5 and I have a few questions:

-Are the Diff Covers on the TB Evo 5 fully closed(Like the HPI Pro 4)?.
-Are you guys really serious about some parts not fitting well?.....The Kit costs $570.00; for that amount of money everything should fit well.....Wow!

Thanks

Take Care.

everything fits well , it just give you the posibility to put more or less shims to get more or less mesh

the gear covers are not fully sealed though , the dust get inside of them , that sucks, you can allways do something to close it better, people is using small pieces of tape , but i agree that should be not necesary

Thanks DrKucho. Putting Shims on the Diffs and Bevel Pinions are a basic set-up with Shaft Drive Kits/Cars.
I thought the TB Evo 5 had Half - Open Diff Covers(Closed Top - Open Bottom).

Thanks

Take Care.
