saw this in another thread. got to see one page of it but needed a password to continue. this link doesnt allow you to access the forum. if anyone has the photos from the page please please please put them up here.

This car looks great. I have not had time to play with my IVMS in a while. I wish tamiya wh-ould put more pics in their website and push the EVO cars with the factory drivers in the big races...

What happened to the white plastic bevel gears from the early photo's, the shit black plastic bevel gears was the only thing I hated about the evo IV.

Those black bevel pinion gears and ring gears are actually stong. On my EVO4, I have not stirpped one of them yet and my car is two months to two years old. I bet you those white gears are bad because they don't have fibre to reinforce it.

The aluminum ones are nice, but they are heavy and may make more noise than plastic ones.

The standard evo 4 is loud enough, could hear mine all over the track Tie fighter noise at the end of the straight, gotta say though it had some mid range pull..
