No...
But when you put it on TB03, you will feel good with low powered motor.
Don't work fine with high power motor.

I've got a newbie question... Can someone tell me the difference between a spool and a one way? From the pics, they identical to me.

Spool has locked outdrives. They both travel at the same speed

One way has one way bearings providing forward drive on power and free rolling off power.

One ways steer far more than spools

So Spool == lock diff

One way == free rolling (almost like no diff) right?

Yes .for spool

The one way locks up under power and lets go when you back off the power allowing more steering

OK understand. so with a one way, you don't back off power going into the corner right? otherwise you'll oversteer. And should hit the throttle as soon as you hit the apex. Am I right or way wrong?

I do know even if I break on straight line the car do spin with a one way. just trying to figure out how to drive a car with a one way.

Or should I just have a tight ball diff?

Default TB Evolution V LP

Hey guys,

I'm currently working on a Lipo Chassis for TB Evo 5.
At first I'm calling it TB Evolution 5LP - some info:
my aim is to have much thiner design, just a littlebit softer than standart MS chassis, improve torque steering and more rear grip. it will fit both standard and MS version.

Lower Deck:
-2,5mm Carbon, special design about 5 -10% softer than standart
- only 89mm wide
- no Motor big hole cutout
- I will try to have equal right to left flex (maybe lipo hole on both sides or none)
- move servo 2mm to middle, 2,5mm to front
- move steering posts 1,5mm to front

Upper Deck:
- 2mm, one piece Design equal to TRF416X with more rear flex

I'll have first prototype in about 2 Weeks, so I'm now just finishing design.
Maybe some of you got interesst and give some input and ideas.

If there's more interesst I'm maybe going to sell some prototypes and later produce more.

So please Post your ideas and wishes.

Regards Oliver

P.S.
Here's a list for those who got interesst - just add your Nickname and post.

Hello guys I would like to know if getting this kit for $310 new in box is still a good deal since is and older chassis.
I bet is still better than other similar newer chassis.
but just asking the pro's before I get it.
