Happy New Year guys! Mind if I join on the topic?
I'm currently using a TA04 Pro Blue collection -- extremely hopped up -- that ud look twice to make sure you saw an 04 and not a 414
I did have a TA04R before this but I gave it to my cuzin who just started the hobby. Both are almost the same, lil differences here and there but the same. Th e only reason I picked the Pro Blue was because I didn't like the wide profile of the Tub the R has. It keeps rubbing the side if you set low at 5mm ride height. So there.
I run it with the Tamiya 11Turn -- one hot motor alright!
I didn't use the droops screws, and my ride is better now than when I used them in my R. But mind you I use white and Blue springs.
A question you guys -- have you tried the 04 with the SS rear arms? Coz that's what I'm planning to do but wondered if anybody has tried it yet. I'm not sure how much shorter the wheelbase gets, but it could eliminate a lil understeer with no drawback eh? what do you guys think?
Also, is there any weight diff on the HARD ARMS and the stock ones?
May '03 be a good season for the 04!
