The Outlaws of DC are very very fast for a 19t motor!!

Also the new MRT Speedcontroller is very easy to set-up, good for top-racing and WATERPROOF!!

Wait for the Komodo to be released. SC - Novak GTX, LRP Q3, Tekkin G11 Pro, or Keyence - can't go wrong with any of them.

What kind of track are you going to be running at? Offroad or onroad? Wide sweeping lanes, or short technical layout?

Although the Komodo appears to be promising - not many have really had the chance to try it ... most the recomendations on here for the motor are based on Trinity's marketing - or from their factory drivers. Pesonally, I like the C2 motor's and will try the Komodo as Epic (Trinity) motors have always worked well for me in 1/10 touring car.

IMHO, if you want a motor that will be ready to drop in your car and go fast, get the C2 either through Trinity or through some of the tuners that are out there. I have not tried any of his motors, however, I heard that EA motor's are great .... DC also has a good rep for tuning some strong 19 turns as well.

For speed controls, I have used the GTX, the Q2, and both work well in 19-turn ... with the various profiles in the GTX, and the launch control on the Q2, you have nothing to lose with either of these units.

New Komoto Dragons work well for anything...C2 is always a good all round motor too. Speedo Novak makes great products, can't go wrong there...

It's actually called "Keyence".... there lastest and greatest is the "Rapida Pro"

http://hobby.keyence.co.jp/english/speed/rapida.html

Personally, the two top of the line esc today are the Tekin G11 Pro or the Keyence Rapida Pro units..... my opinion only thou..

We started a 1/12 4 cell 19 turn class this past year and the C2 was normally the best. I was able to tune an epic into a balistic motor. One of our best racers used it for our carpet end of season big race and picked up 1 1/2 laps.

However, I picked up a new CheckPoint Money and it was almost as good as the Epic out of the box. So we'll see. I have played with almost all the 19 turns out there except the Corally, not sure why since I run a Corally 12m Euro. The Integys have worked well also.

My 2cents for a non sponsored racer.
