Do I have to use the regulator in order to use the Li-Po reciver battery?

(LVR-1000) 1A Low Dropout Regulator or (LVR-5000) 5A Switching Regulator (6.7V) for Li-Po RX packs ?

Is the 5A one ONLY for using on spektrum and PCM? or it can still be using on other brand, ie. KO or use of 1/12?

the regulator you need cause your rcvr won't take over 6.0 volts. plus you need it to tell you yourbatt is low voltage. be safe and use it.

The 5v one is the one you want but if you don't have spektrum it won't work.

It does the job perfect.
I use the VXR receiver pack in my Jammin CRT with a regulator...Works flawlessly.
