I had a X-11 rotor epoxy thread come apart and clog up my motor last night ...
I clean it off and reinstalled the rotor ...
Is it still Ok to run this way or should get a new rotor first before running the motor ?

Not like it was brand new , it had hundreds of runs on it before the failure...

I would pick up another rotor. That could cause other problems.

Does anyone know when the next shipment of Sphere TCs are to arrive (or know of anywhere that has them in stock)? Have had one on backorder for two months now with no end in sight. Thanks!

Wouldnt it be nice if you could find someone in the USA that actually has lrp stuff in stock???

It seems the only place one can get a lrp touring spec is for a magazine test or hong kong (@260 usd...ouch)

I have always purchased lrp and been a big supporter but the availability issue is getting a little out of hand.

Burito....are you listening??

i feel your pain guys ... i was in the same boat a few months back when i was struggling to get my hands on a TC spec for myself. after a very looooooooooong wait, i finally found one! Where? You guessed it ... HK! And painfully expensive! I could have bought another kit at the price i purchased this thing. They are really hard to come by and from what we all hear, the after sales is even worse. Dont get me wrong, im happy as hell with the product. Been using it with the X11 4.5 and brushed stock racing and it has served me well. But the sales/distribution, prices, and after sales are really somthing that has to be looked into... the total package!

There's hardly even any discussion going on in the thread! Maybe thats partly because hardly anyone has one and the LRP folks are rarely around to answer queries.

Good morning everybody.

As for availability in the USA, I can unfortunately not be of real assistance since I'm working in R&D and am not involved with sales and/or service whatsoever. It might be the best if you get in touch with Associated to find out if or when TC-Spec's are available.
The demand is obviously very high for those, especially after the Reedy-Race when 9 out of the Top10 ran our speed-controls! We're running like 200% of the normal production capacity right now and hopefully they'll be easier to get worldwide within the next few weeks.

Hello to all, I have had a bad experience in the last National race with a motor X11 4.5, I feel, the yield loss on the 3 minutes of race. I have a pole position, and exit with number 1 in the Final A, in the exit very fast, distanced to me of 2º until the minute 2.5 - 3, that the motor it seems to have fade, ending a temperature of 84º, measured with a Exergen 301. I like to know,if somebody to experienced something similar, seems that it has lowered the magnetic field, is possible that single it is necessary to replace the rotor. somebody can help me? Burito?.

Pd:The motor is fantastic, very powerfull, and in this conditions i finish in 3º place. The question is only, for secure me, is i have to replace the rotor.
Thanks in avance.

I am trying to determine if their is any difference in profiles or internal hardware, fets etc from the tc spec and the comp 2007 version?

I checked out lrp site and it appears that the features and specs are the same however the touring comes with the fan setup and 12 gauge wire.

Any idea?
