Brushless speedos will always be bigger then Brushed, because they need ~3-times as many fet's and also all the circuitry to drive the fet's 3-times!

The "2007 Edition" can handle all manufacturers motors down to 4.5t with no problems. Not sure about the 3.5's tough, I didn't test myself and it's obviously also outside of our recommendations/specs.
With 5 cells (as to new EFRA rules) it's certainly easier for the speedos and therefore might work fine with 3.5t as well, but this is no guarantee!

I noticed on the LRP catalog for 2007 under new TC-Spec controller chapter mentioning about it being optimized for 4 cells.
What does that actually mean ? Can I run it without receiver pack in 12th scale cars ?

Thanks Reto. I am verry happy with the speed controllers preformance so far, no problems at all.

any news on this? When will the TC spec be available?

We still target a January release for the #80750 TC-Spec, but it's going to be end of the month.

Hello Reto,
When will LRP come out with faster motors than the 5.5t, suited for 5cell racing (4.5t or maby 3.5t, according to efra rules)?
With kind regards,

Our info in Finland is that
- X11 / 4.5T in arriving next week.
- TC spec ESC is arriving here in January
Wish it was January already

Hi
Why the LRP X11 4.5t max rpm is lower than X11 5.5t ?

Puuh, lot's of questions...
Sintered very soon, we ship motors (4.5t) that come with sintered rotors next week to distributors. Spare sintered rotors shortly after.
Not completely sure about the ceramic bearings, rough estimate is early January.
As said above, 4.5t to come next week! No decision on even lower turns...
Actually I'm not sure about the price! Will have to check that.
Sintered magnets have higher magnetic strenght then bonded, which results in the MUCH lower RPM's but a lot more torque with sintered. So far everyone prefered sintered, that was able to try it.
