Question...

Can I use TC3 front arms to my TC4?
Are there any changes in wheelbase or width?

Hey guys. I started to play with the akerman on this car at the last race and have a question.

If I remember correctly, the out side hole on the knuckle is B, So I started with 1B and moved to 2B. It smoothed out the car big time on power. Was wondering how the B hole compairs to the A hole with 1 and 2. Maybe some one can list the order from most steering to least ??

Thanks
DK

Ive been running with #1 frt and #2 rear. The higher rear really helps the car rotate on power. The car drives up to the corner with no problem.

Latley I switched to the B hole (upper) frt and rear and REALLY like the way it feels. It does take some traction away but, its more consistint every where. If your running carpet give it a try. If your running asphalt use the A (lower) hole.

You can try the setup changes at "The C". But the traction isn't going to be as high as last weekend.

Do you widen the front of your car? I've been having some random traction rolls and have tried everything except a new body. I'm running a Mazda Speed 6. The car is quick but the traction rolls are killing me. I'm going to a regular Mazda 6 this weekend. Any advice? running blackstocks setup from IIC.

No, my car is full narrow.

Did you try moving your wing back some more? That should help a bit too. I hear that the speed has more steering than the 6 but havnt had either to find out.

Looking at Blackstocks setup, mine is really close with only a few changes. The car should be pretty close. Where does it traction roll at? When you get off the gas? You running a spool or oneway?

It occurs off power/ mid corner. Running a one-way now but I had the problem with the spool also. Only thing is I'm about .4 faster per lap with the one way but with the traction roll. What body do you run?

2B is a nice setting for normal humans. #1 (forward on the bell crank) is pretty reactive. #2 is usually where you want to be. I always felt that B gave more overall steering over A, especially on power.

Im running a stratus ap with the wing full forward. Even trimed it down a little. It goes mid or rear for out door stuff.

I just tried the 2B akerman setup and it really smooth the car out in the middle of the turn. Made it easyier to drive also. Really consisnt compaired to the 1B setup

Other than that, the only thing I can think of is tires.
Maybe a little longer on the rear dope? I have been running the Sorax's 28's rear and the 32's up front. Tons of smooth steering. Did I mention I love this car ?!?!?! Definitley one of the fastest cars Ive owned.
