Just got one so I am gonna paint it up...Some of the guys running it on asphalt felt like they were very steery! I will report my findings as well.

I just ran the R9-R this weekend practicing for our regionals and it was loose at first, I put my mazda 6 spd on and finished up for the day as I knew what it would do . Later after we got done I tired the R9-R again with my final setup after tweaking all day and it was just as good as the Mazda 6.

I just built my TC5R this weekend and had the same problem. I used my 3mm tap, to re-tap the servo post and that solved the problem. When the manufacturer taped these pieces of aluminum, the did a poor job and did not tap the threads deep enough into the post, that is why your screw did not seat all the in the post.

I had to do the same procedure to one of the hingepin aluminum retaining posts.

My servo post and screw worked perfectly with either the ITF or standard chassis straight out of the box.

Mine too, but my box had two manufacturer's seals on it. Wonder if they did a running change for this?

What are some good upgrades for the TC5. I have aluminum c hubs and steering spindles. Diggity Lipo tray. Are there some other good pieces out there. Someone turned me on to exotic (it think) lower bearing carriers for spur. Just curious to know what else is out there.

What springs work on TC5?

Will a FT TC4 body fit on the TC5? I might get a TC5.

I used a body from my FT TC4 on my TC5, just had to redrill the body post holes.

ne1 having problems with the stock wheel nuts falling off? Also there seems to be alot of play with front and rear up bearings, how do i fix it?

Mugen wheel nuts will fix that...the gray one's are the best!

I don't usually use any kind of thread lock on my electric cars, but I use the Associated stuff on my nitro cars. Stuff works really good. Really can't see a reason to use it on electric cars except for possibly the motor mount screws, and only if you're having a problem with screws backing off.

It is only for the motor mount screws. I have used my schools Red Locktite which the technician (UK Scale Plane Champion) swears by. I'm just looking for some for myself.

I'm not so sure i'd use the red stuff...usually red loc tite=NEVER EVER getting screw out again.
