I would get industrial velcro, and some tape. Remove the post. Pack will not budge after that.

Personal i like the Speed 6, it gives a bit more front end bite, the 6 is just stable and good, but on my TC5 I prefer the Speed 6

Need some serious help with gearing. I have no idea what spur or pinion to use. I have a tc5 Lrp spheretc, vector x-11 13.5 motor, smc5000 lipos. The track is a parking lot track, small, lots of turns, about 9 second laps. Any thoughts where to start?

Start around 4.6 FDR....75T spur, 32T pinion in 48P = 4.66

or 96T spur w/ 42T pinion in 64P = 4.57FDR

Default tc5

hey everyone
i just recently went from a one way to a spool and i need help with set up ideas. have trouble wit understeer at the start of teh corner then oversteer wen i put the power down. was thinking maybe removing front sway bar n straighting up the suspension on the rear? might even change the gearing to slow it down out of the corners to stop power on oversteer? am i on the heading in the right direction with my ideas? i race stock, rubber on asphalt

thanks

I believe that is only an aftermarket part and not made by Associated. I forget who makes it. Its about 5 pages or so back.

Try lowering you roll center at front and rear.
Try some toe-out (0.5 degrees) at the front suspension arms.
Try loosen the diff at the rear. But it is not suppoce to slip! A sweet and loose diff gives you a bit more turn
And possibly a bit more toe-in on the rear. the last one, is the one you could try if all others fail. This wil also slow the car down. in the corners.
You can try to spring it softer, but that will also slow the car down in the corners. so that option is one to do if all other fails.

Greetings

Associated makes them as well as Exotek, Exotek sell's them for 8 dollar or so. The are not in the TC5R kit.

today i'm going to make the first rounds with the TC5R (i've also got a TC5).

The lowered layshaft doesnt seem to do much. I have the Ekotek one as well as the new cam holders. The new cam holders do a much better job of freeing up the belt IMO.
