just my opinion...but aluminum screws are bad news on touring cars...

dont think you will find them on any factory drivers cars anymore...

I always thought aluminum screws into aluminum parts was not a good idea. Something about seizing together. Am I wrong?

actually steel into into aluminum can cause corrosion, I been running aluminum screws in my rc cars for 18 years with no problems, didnt want a debate, just a link, thanks

Hey Kraig, that thought did pass my mind. To get the proper roll-out, you can't use 3 screws with some of these Spur gear manufactures. The gear just won't line-up for 3 screws. I'm generally always using a 109, 111 and a 113 spur. We generally have the roll-out figured out at my local track. An no matter what my foam dia. get to, it always falls into the range of those spurs. The 111 and the 109 I use the most. Does anyone know of a manufacture that has those gears and you can use 3 screws. Thanks all

I have always used tape. Once I go back to the ITF chassis I will keep an eye on everything.

Just wondering how the TC5 is holding up against the Euro chassis like T2'008, Mi3, Corally etc.. I'm in the market for a new TC and wondering if the TC5 is the answer.

on the battery deal, are most of you taping your batteries in or using the brace? I ask because its a common thing im seeing so far the the guys using the battery brace are losing their packs in any decent crash

Hi all ive just started on road racing and have just got a TC5 and running a 19t motor,how do you stop the rear wanting to come around out of a turn?

I went to 2 deg rear toe to keep mine from coming around. you can lower the roll center if you have your diffs raised, that will keep it from turning so hard
