Just in case any of you are waiting for some alloy parts from AE,don't hold your breath.I asked them and this is their reply.

"There are no plans at the moment to make aluminum parts for the TC5. That does not mean however that somebody wont."

The car will be outdated by time they get around to it.Let's hope TR and others come to the plate.I found alloy gear hub,now i just want c-hubs.

topracing makes an aluminum spur gear adapter for the car and steel and aluminum spools. EJ should have them in stock in a few weeks. His email is [email protected] if you have any questions

I don't think the site is quite ready yet. You can email EJ more more info until the site is done

Hi

I have found a problem that TC5 motor position is too outside, it will cause unbalance and oversteering when turn right but a little understeering when turn left with 5cell front position, I have practice at a indoor track when the traction is very high, it will cause very much and always reversed when turn into a right corner. of course use old tire can solved the problem, but it make me worried when race.

G2B: With 5 cells, I thought I remember seeing a picture of the battery and speed control all on the same side. This would leave just the servo, receiver and motor on the left side. Is this how you have yours setup?

You might still have to add weight to make sure the car is balanced left to right.

Its the same price that Xray or Corally sell theirs for. Its not easy or cheap to make parts like this. If it was everyone would be making them.

Thanks for the response on the c-hubs everyone. I only had time to make a limited number of these. I only have one set each of the 4 and 6 degree c-hubs left at this time. If anyone else wants either of these, you might want to drop me an email first to make sure I still have them in stock. I will be making more in the near future, hopefully along with with steering blocks and rear hubs. These hubs do use the stock bushings, you will only need a 3mm set screw for the hinge pin.
