51, I was running the diff in the front. I do think I had too much throw because I could see the car binding up in the corners....scrubbing speed. How long will it be before the spooland one way are released? Thank you.

Default !3.5 Setup

I have a few questions.

1. What is the best gearing for a 13.5BL on a short tight track (asphault)?
2. The best servo?
3. And of course a base setup for rubber carpet and asphault?

for a 13.5 brushless I am running a 90 tooth spur with a 41 tooth pinion and 59mm tires. The gear teeth just bearly mesh so you need to have a pinion + spur total teeth of at least 131 or you will be out of travel.

Ran the new car for the first time Saturday, my trusty old TC3 is retired! So smooth and easy to drive, if the ITF chassis set makes it much better.... just set the cruise control and ride. LOL

You can find both setups on rc10.com.

All the major radio mfgs. make a good servo. I recomend the kopropo low profile #2413

I haven't run a 13.5, sorry I can't help you on that one.

I ran the 13.5 at 87/30 (48 pitch) put it at a 5.8 final drive ratio. It had had good top end and lots of rip. Also I have the sintered rotor in the 13.5

I ran on saturday and loved the car. I ran Ryan Cavalieri's Reedy Race setup. I needed to add the orings to the top but didnt have time to add them. The rear end was loose. The car had more steering then any car I have run before. I think as soon as I can get the ITF chassis on it the car will be dialed. I was turning close to the same times as the guys running 19t.

Great Car!

Default Reedy Setups

Hello Brent (51),

I was looking at Ryan and Kyle's setup's from the Reedy Race and I was wondering which hole they are mounting the arms onto the bulkheads. The drawings show a (A, B,) hole and I am not seeing the corresponding marking on the setup sheet, am i just missing it or maybe it just got overlooked.

Also do you have Rick's setup from invite, I did not see it posted as of today.

Congrats on your finish also, its great to see everyone excited about the car and doing so well with it. Mine will be comming soon.

Thanks,
Steve Curry

wait a sec....maybe there was only one hole in the bulkheads on the Reedy Race car?????? or the actual production car????

most likely not....but if so, that would explain it...

I bet they were just overlooked, one hole is probably very common so far for the drivers, most likely the bottom hole. I'm sure by monday we will know.

Sean.....have you and I ever had the same type of car at the same time, I am thinking no. How's it going by the way.

Home at last for me too, I have been doing rc since 1980. I have owned so many AE cars that I rather not even think about it. This will be my first AE in some time, not including a FT B4.

If you are running your pins flat you will use the bottom hole on the bulkheads. I think the top hole is for when you are running anti/pro dive and anti/pro squat. It allows you to get a different combination of degrees.

My car should be arriving sometime tomorrow. I've been following this thread and chose the TC5 based on the helpful online support that I've been seeing. Hopefully I'll be able to contribute one day.

Thanks again Corallyman for your help!
