as i ran my tc5 at speedweekend 2012. stock chassis, ae lipo retainer.
I fiddled around with new holes ect to move it around to eliminate the use of weights, but went back to the stock battery holes. i raised it up off the chassis level with some 2mm shims though which might have helped with battery holddown tweak. didnt really need anything inboard to stop it moving this way.
lipo tray not in this pic, but battery in the same position.
i might bring this car back for speedweekend outdoor. but my team magic is so nice to drive in stock.. not sure about entering the tc5 in mod would probably swap them.

today i try to put more steering in my tc5. when i add more travel to the transmitter the steering makes a bad noise and shakes at big lock with throttle. i turn down the end point it goes away but now i have not enough steering. what do i do? i am new to touring car

I needed more steering from TC5 recently and tried adjusting the endpoints, but found it didnt work. I settled with moving the front shocks more horizontal (outside hole on bottom, second hole on top) and this helped give much more steering.
Anyone know for sure if the tc6.1 arms fit?
Ive tried to search the thread and scrolled through some of the pages but havent seen any chatter. Would the Exotek TC5X chassis be a good choice for 17.5 Blinky? I purchased the AE lipo tray for my TC5 and had the lipo move 3 times during racing. Pinned the front belt up against the servo horn and put a groove in it as well as the lipo case.

Thank you for the heads up. it isn't for a class, I'm working on speed at the moment. Thanks again.
Probably been asked and answered a few times. Will the TC6.1 gear diff work in the TC5?
