What the difference between the FT TC5, TC5F, TC5R?
And is anyone using the Spec R diffs if so what fluids are you using?

FT TC5 comes with all the hop ups ae makes for the car.
TC5F is the Foam tire version of the car with Thicker chassis and stiffer springs

TC5R is the Rubber tire version and comes with soft chassis and soft springs for rubber tire racing.

As for gear diff's i am sure there are some people using them and they run anywhere from 60-100 wt oil in them.

Associated also makes their own LiPo retainer... I have a link but I guess I don't have enough posts to put it up here.

Go to the Tower Hobbies website and search for "Associated Factory Team Graphite LiPo Retainer TC5" - it's $17.29

Check out Diggity Designs for various TC5r LiPo trays. They put the pack further away from the chassis centre line for improved balanced and seem to hold the pack in a bit better than the Associated LiPo tray.

Just picked upa used R from here and run it in one event. Handles nice so far.
Geometry it set to the kit rubber settings just curious what shock/spring setup i should use for parkinglot pavment. Track is sprayed and we run rubber tires.

My kit came with red/copper and green/silver springs no idea of the shock setup.
Also hiw does velt tension affect the car?

has anyone else had issues with the front drive belt hitting their servo saver post? i tried lowering the dif height and noticed it but raised the dif back up and it still hits when you steer heavy. i dont know if its hurting anything but the belt will twist when it rubs against it.

tried switching the belt to the other side of the car but now im too close to the servo arm and rub against that too on occasion so ill change it back.
would be nice if the belts on this car actually fit the pullies. might install a tensioner pully to keep the belt off my stuff.
