I just got a used TC5 and it need drive cups replaced. Really worn out. I knew this before hand so not a shady thing or anything. The guy also sent nip ones for both front and rear.

He sent to sets of 31167. it has the blue alum ones on it. How long will the plastic ones hold up in a vta class on pavement?

how big of a difference does the 2.0mm ITF chassis make compared to the stock 2.5mm chassis on handling?

The black plastik ones are very good in price/performance/durability. I returned to plastic after the blades often broke and suddenly destroy the aluminum outdrives. So if you are not using them in modified they will last long!

On asphalt and carpet rubber racing it really makes a difference. The car handles much better through building up much more grip.

Default Shocks

I didn't see if this has been asked when I did a search, do the TC 6 shocks fit the TC 5? I'm curious if they would improve the handling of the TC 5.

Will fit.

About handling ... maybe yes maybe not, it depend on holes in piston, oil.

I've been out of RC for a bit now and thinking about getting a second hand TC5. What are the differences between the TC5 and TC6? Are there parts that can be shared with the two kits?

I need suggestions to start removing push and adding steering. Both on and off power!

The Associated asphalt set up works real nice as the starting point. Just adjust from there for your driving style. Only think im considering changing is the springs from the asphalt set up. I also run a TC5 for VTA.

there is an insert that locks into the holes under where the battery goes that has little lips on the sides to hold it in from sliding out. I have 1 in mine.
