Sounds like the back is so planted and stable that the front can't call the shots. Or as they say in NASCAR, "That dog won't hunt." You want to try to send some of that extra grip to the front, so make the back stiffer, taller and with less roll. As to weight distribution. The kit setup is about 48% front, 52% rear, which works for me. Some more weight forward may take out some push, but too much weight forward will make the front tires go away quicker and bring the push back even worse.

Hey guy's im sure its been discussed i just couldnt find it , but if i have the lipo battery plate for the tc5 will the hobby king zippy or turningy 2s 5000mah packs fit , soft or hard case ? also is anyone running a castle 7700kv motor for onroad , just wondering what gearing you are using ? Thanks

I had to file mine in order for the truningy 5200 hard case to fit length wise. Width was ok.

ok i can do that thankyou , anybody running a 7700kv castle motor and have any setup advice for it , mainly going to be using this for speed runs and oval racing with some friends on a cement track , i need it to go really fast... I have other cars for the track , this will mainly be my speed car... thanks

Just wanted to thank everyone for their setup help... no front sway bar is great. I really thought the car would be a lot less stable without it, but that wasn't the case.

Hi Guys!

I have a losi 3.5t system in my tc5 on 2s lipo. I am running on pavement. Can you guys help me out with my pinion and spur gearing? I had a 64pitch 39t pinion and 97t spur. The ESC and capacitor got hot I was overgeared and the external capacitor attached to the board the solder turned burnt a little but its still attached is it ok to run? What are you guys running for pinion and spurs?

With an LRP X11 3.5T I'm running 116t spur and 23t pinion.

can someone tell me the ROAR weight specs for TC. I thought it was 1525g, but someone told me different last night and I forgot-somewhere around 1425g?

Hey yall,, my LHS has a tc5 thats been on the shelf for a while for $250. the ox is opened, bbut the bags are still sealed. Im thinkin about buying it. Currently I have a fairly quick sprint 2 and i am a parking lot thrasher.

I would like to stare at the CF and aluminum parts all day, and use it as a display piece in my room, and sometimes drive it a few times. Any suggestions??

Are these very durable? I notice the motor sitcks out in a nasty way, is it pretty balaced or will i have to tweak it? i also still run stick packs.
