Haven't used plastic ones before, but the aluminum ones last for ages. The back ones however run out faster than the front ones. I'm running a slipper spool up front and a ball diff at the back. After 2 months in 10.5, the back ones ahve created a half mm gap, however the front ones are still like new.

Outdrives I think. My rear Aluminium outdrives have a significant groove worn in them after running my rear diff very low for about 6 weekends of racing. The plastic CV blades look mostly ok but the Aluminium outdrives are worn really badly.

Thats kinda bad for the pocket. I woulda thought they designed it so the outdrives would stay in tact and the blades would wear. I think I'll stay with plastic outdrives.

Droop is affected by two settings. Ridge Height and the down stop settings. You have to measure downstops under the arms and be carefull because a small amount makes a big difference. Team driver setups are measured using the Associated downstop tool wich is different from other tools like the Hudy one. The Associated website have different setups posted by the team drivers. I suggest you pick one that meet the conditions of your current track and start from there

Well the car was stupid fast last night but didn't work because when the guy built it that I bought it from used regular diff rings in the slipper spool instead of the slipper pads it should of had so it wouldn't grip and made the car pull all over the place. Did I say it was fast.

I have not run touring in over 5 months or so and in that short time the new speedos make way more power than when I ran my last car so speeds are just so fast that a bad handling car is impossible to drive thats for sure.

I'm going to order the proper parts and fix the front slipper spool and give it a try again before I decide to do anyting else. Not going to just spend money til I sort some things out first. After I do that I will decide where to go from that point.
