Well my Exotek chassis showed up today. I ordered it on Sunday night and I have it on Wed. Have to give props to Exotek for getting it promply shipped out and to the Postal Service for getting 3K miles away that quickly. Hats off to you guys.

I know if I ever need anything from Exotek again I won't hesitate to buy it. Impressive service.

I will get it setup over Thur and Fri so I can race it Saturday. Can't wait to get it all done.

Default KO 2413 spacer (Thin, thick or no spacer)?

I could not find the servo in the list of spacers in the instructions and want to make sure I have the appropriate spacer for the KO 2413 (Thin, thick or no spacer)? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hey guys, I have a brand new TC5 for sale, too many things to list. Just passed tech at Superior Hobbies for the 13.5 Brushless class. Ran once, now I have baby sitter problems, and need to sell this car.

PM me for details

I think you'll have to guess it, I had to with mine. I intially put mine in without one but the steering link was sitting at an angle and nearly hitting the left front bulkhead so I put in the think spacers to move the servo closer to the centre of the car.

I have a thick spacer and washer and it worked ok but I still have a bit of an angle and wondering if that was ok or if that will affect my steering?

As long as it's not hitting anything or jamming on it self you'll be fine.

If your steering link from servo horn to servo saver tube is at an angle, you may get the ball binding in the ballcup when you are fully turned to the right. Test it with your hand because it is not obvious if you turn the wheels with your radio.

My advice would be to use a combo of servo horn and servo spacers so that you linkage runs straight along the centreline.

Regards

Neal

My servo saver post is fine, the problem with mine is that my Spektrum Z590 servo that the AE horns don't fit it. I'm unsing a modified JR heavy duty with a yokomo ball joint. But it's not doing anything stupid or bad so its all fine.

what benefits do you get by using the new Exotek chassis? Does it work better with rubber tyres on ashpalt or carpet?
thanks , Lee

Do you guys think that taping the bottom of the chassis or using those protective covers reduce flex?
