As far as the thumb screws i got ride of them and went back to the old body clip way and i have no tweak on the chassis from from to rear.i leave it just barely snug and it wont fall out because i have 3 mm slivers of carbon fiber the are about an inch long that i have glued to the chassis on the out side and also the inside so that the battery wont slide into the belt. i havent had a prob yet. the nice thing about running the body clips is that for different pack heights i can just give the screw a turn or two to adjust for it and still have no strap tweak.

Im surprised they havent re-released the TC3 due to its popularity in VTA (and the fact its still a very competitive car). Plus with brushless motors torque steer isn't the problem it once was. If I were running Associated I think I would re-release the TC3 before releasing a TC6.

TC3 > TC4
Plus the kits have been discontinued. Only the TC4 RTR is available.

I say instead of the TC3 why not make a cheaper version of the TC5 like with a tub chassis but belt driven just like the hot bodies and discontinued the TC4. With the TC5 diff it can accomodate a wide variety of motor specially brushless. While TC3/4 Gearing is limited to what the motor cam that secures the motor to the chassis. I bet you that it would increase sales due to a cheaper version and aluminum hop ups.

IMO the TC5 is cheap enough.

No kidding. Anyone who's had to price up the cost of running a European TC recently will tell you the TC5 is by far the cheapest high level TC out there.
