hey guys got my tc5 and i love it! great car and my favorite part is when i break... i just go to the wall insted of going to the bank getting a loan and then buy the part lol
the only thing i cant figure out is that when i go into the corner it starts to push and then all of a suden it transfers and i spin out. i can avoid it if i just stay in the throtle but at some points in traffic this is not possible?
any adjustment ideas im willing to try! thanks in advanced!

Sounds like too much weight is being transferred to the front wheels. There's a ton of fixes. Stand your front shocks up, heavier springs up front, more rear toe, less front toe, etc.

Are you running a one-way or sway bars?

sry i should have been clearer lol
im running foam usually 13.5
the other thing i just thought of is would average grip tracks cause this problem. also i have tried standing shocks up in front or stiffer spring in front, also thicker rear oil, and less rear droop

I would assume you'd want to run a spool up front, the one-way would give you way too much steering on carpet/foam. It sounds like the front of the car is diving in too much; I would look at a heavier sway bar up front and/or lighter in the rear; and maybe change the castor a little. I have also found that my TC5 drives better with a little larger turn radius than other cars.

the steering may be a good idea the spool though not so much i hate the way a spool makes a car feel. thank you for the idea though. sway bars i dont know if they would help to much i have gone to gold and it made the problem smaller but it was still there

If you do this is it the last thing after all the other set ups ie. droop, ride height ...
Thanks for all your help
God Bless
Sorry but I just about never use a scale.
But when I do check the car it goes in this order:
set ride height at all 4 corners
check camber
set droop
check tweek

The scales are probably a good idea for the first time set up for weight placement. But i've just gotten used to doing it with out them.

Default lipo tray

hello guys

I would like to know if this 2 fit together o the TC5.

Want to get them from stormer hobbies.

https://www.ssl-stormerhobbies.com/c...pn=CORSRC79867

I don't like using the normal weights people use here at the track, I think it is more clean to use those.

They should. I can't speak to that exact plate, but I am using basically the same plate from PPD with that tray and they fit just fine.

As far as I know, its all just operator error in getting the o-ring to seat. If your gonna drop for a TC, this is definately the best deal

PS I have the shocks from that Kyoslow if you need them

The Mantech weighthas raised long edges on the lipo side to help hold the lipo in place. Was looking over one this past weekend at a race. It's sharp. I plan on picking one up!

Hi guys I have a question about mix and macthing brushless motor and ESC. I know for a fact that you can interchange a different brand motor and ESC. A friend of mine traded me a tekin 17.5 sensored motor and I used it with novak GTB the problem I'm having is the motor would run half a seconds and then stop. What am I doing wrong? I'm using the novak sensor wire I followed the A B C tabs on my motor. What could possibly do this? When I switch back to my novak 17.5 SS everything works fine. The tekin motor was ran one day race and it doesn't smell burnt at all. Please help.... Do i need to buy a Tekin ESC to make it work?

Are you getting any specific flashing on the GTB after it stops? I had a similar problem but had 8 or 10 flashes after it stopped. I had to have it replaced.
