For 13.5 with a lipo, running no asphalt what would be a good pinion/spur to start with?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=61wL2Eq3qUk the layout is diferent now but you can atleast get an idea of how big the track is.

Thanks
Cody

rubber tire 13.5 start at 4.5 and watch motor temps 150 to 160 is the sweet spot for most motors

I have tried this setup at 3 tracks. Big, little, open, tight, high bite, low bite, oneway, spool. It seems to work well in all carpet conditions.

xtreme.......i'm not sure a spool is the way to go on a tight technical track.....unless braking is needed.
thanx josh. no need to brake at my track. so i will just try the new setup and keep the oneway as it works real good now. thanx again

Cody
are u running foam or rubber
all u have to do to figure out final drive ratio is divide pinion into spur then multiply by internal drive ex 64 p 100 spur \40 pinion= 2.5 x 2.0 internal drive= 5.0

We can start practicing for the Reedy race now. I just hope the announce the tire sooner than they did last year. We did all that last second testing only to go with the tire we told them the first time
