Problem solved.

I just used a 9/64 drill bit and counter sunk the holes by hand.. I just spun the drill bit with my fingers and it quickly cut a small bevel/countersunk into the bulk head screw holes to match the ones in the motor mount. Worked perfectly..

DO NOT USE a power drill or you will mess it up... ONLY use your fingers to twist the drill bit..

I'm running the latest Josh H setup ...

On Saturday, I was running a track with a high speed sweeper to the left and the car wanted to spin out during the sweeper and then the significant hairpin at the end of sweeper.

On Sunday, I was at a different track with a high speed sweeper to the right and a 180 hairpin at the end ... and the car wanted to spin out at the sweeper and did on the hairpin.

Any suggestions on what is goofy with my car? Going to rebuild my diff this week ... but anything else to look at?

Thanks

"IF" there is nothing wrong with the car (bad diff, shock with no oil, bent hinge pin) I would try a black front sway bar.

That sounds odd for that setup......have you had that problem before or did it just start this week?

Ok, thanks. Let me guess, you race at Lazer too?
Last year, I was in the stock TC class. In the A-Main, Nate was running a TC5 with a Novak 13.5 BL system and he got first. I think there were quite a few TC5's including me. Top 3 were running 13.5 I think.. Results

Thanks ... I tried to go stiffer spring in front, and didn't help ... maybe I'll go back down and try the sway bar.

My other thought was maybe a body rub, but I went higher on the body and still happened. Will go through the car the next couple days to try and figure out.

Thanks for the help.

I have seen a few guys running them locally. The only one it seems to work well for is a driver using an Xray. Quietstorm has used one on his TC5, but he is faster with a standard PF Mazda 6. It seems to me that it would be a decently fast body but the setup required to make it work is a lot different due to the massive amounts of steering it provides.

Like K Spec said I'm running the body.It was aggressive at first but once I found a setup that felt right I was .3 slower on my fast lap. But my average was very good (9.8 fast lap/10.0 average over 6 min.) with the R9-R body. I'm going to try something different this weekend and see what it does. I will stay with the R9-R if I can get my laps times back down. I think it can be faster through the corners than my Mazda 6.

Thanks. I'm actually not very happy with the steering in my car right now with the DNA-2 body. I'm gonna try the R9 and see if that helps out as well.

What kind of steering are you looking for? Also if you post your setup it helps.
