It just seems odd to me that the whole right side of the car is 1/2 a turn higher then the left. Thats all.

Thanks
DK

Maybe you have one spring stronger than the other. Try to flip them from side to side and see what happens.

Any idea's ?

DK
I had the same issue so, I had a buddy of mine come over w/a hudy complete set up station and was having the same problem when the shock collars were exactly the same. When we put it on the tweak board it looked like a bus hit it, it was THAT bad. Now granted i SUCK at building shocks and im sure that was part of the problem, also he has some sort of spring tester that he got from his work (he make springs for big trucks) that will test the size, type and ft pound per spring. Sure enough EVERY spring we tested was different from the other. We tested 6 blue springs out of 3 different spring kits and they varied as much as a 1/2 pound difference, so apparently when AE makes these springs or whoever makes them for AE are not real accurate.

So after figuring all this out, i set the ride height where i wanted it and they threw it on the tweak board, sure enough it was still way off. In order to get the tweak out of the car I just went ahead and adjusted the spring collars and here are the results that I got.....of course they will not be the same car to car but I just thought I would let u know how far off mine are for your reference.

Front (blue) right side shock collar is 2.67mm higher then the left
Rear (silver) right side shock collar in 1.88mm higher then the left

Set up like that, the car was on rails, so that means to me that the collars do not need to be even. Also means I should prob. get a few lessons on building shocks, but Set-up like that was good enough to win the main, So I am not gonna change what is working!!

Does anyone have a link or know what company makes the carbon fiber brace with the two fans on it for the esc and motor? It mounts right to the chassis. I've seen it before but lost the link and can't find it on Google. Thanks in advance for the help.

What's up TC5 Guys...

I just picked up 2 TC5's (TC5F and TC5R) and cant wait to get home and start the build. Is there anything i should know before i start the build. Any little tricks that will help during the process. I've been running Losi Type R's since they were available and was wondering if there is any thing that the car needs to make it right.

I've read to through a lot of pages of this thread and know i could run a search but figured i would take the easy way out today.

Thanks

The washers that the instructions say to use with the diffs are too thick, there are some thin ones in one of the other open bags, use those and you won't have any problems putting the diffs together.
