Id start around a 4 FDR. 3.77 is pretty aggressive.

Is there a way to improve the corner speed?
BTW: i run ITF chassis and top-deck

Thanks...

After being at the novak race this past winter... Brian Jucha had his car dialed and it had more corner speed than the corally phi on foam tires... I see no reason this same corner speed would not cross over into the rubber tire department.

Josh H will have all the info you need .... he will be in vegas and after he comes back bags a little heavier..... he will have an outstanding setup for us all to run.

leave the timing low and use gearing for speed. motor will run cooler. timing only changes the powerband on a bl, a timing change is nothing a pinion change cant accomplish, and with low timing the motor runs cooler

Ahh... Blackstock's PHI had way more corner speed than any car at the Novak
But Josh's car looks great in practice and is my pick to win the IIC

Any one know of any longer front body posts that will wit the TC5

and maybe thicker as well,

or a mod so they cant turn.

The standard body posts are to short and seem way to weak

Looks good. Also looks like it moves the motor inward about 4mm (since it doesnt have the extra motor mount piece). I assume you have to drill a new hole or 2 in the chassis to support that. Only problem I see if you would have to remove the bulkheads to change the spur gear. If people switch between classes often that would probably be a deal breaker. Pinion changes also look difficult since it covers the hole on the bottom of the chassis for changing pinions. You would probably have to take the top deck off to change a pinion.

Rear diff is in backwards in the picture. How well do the belts fit with this mod?

Running 5mm front and rear with Mazda Speed 6 cut at the body lines and the front drags with the clip at the top of the body post.

its ok to cut the body above the line. take a sharpie, run it flat on a smooth and flat surface all the way around the body. that should give you clearence all the way around.
