hey, sisnce you have issues with the silver spinges might wana use gold in the front and green in the rear?

i thought about the whole springe/oil issue but there's other ways to make a car hang in the corners my increasing traction with the rear tie-ride setups.
Just some general FYI...
green rear silver front is a 1 spring rate difference front to rear (rear softer)
copper rear silver front is a 4 spring rate difference front to rear (rear MUCH stiffer)

there is no correlation at all between these two setups...

from soft to stiff it goes
green -> silver -> blue -> gold -> red -> copper ...

Email P-Dub directly. I got a response from Larry there and he does have them in stock despite what the website says. He was away for a bit and I ordered mine from Schumacher as I was impatient but I didn't pay that kind of shipping.

but then again were not sure what we're talking about rubber? foam? asphalt? carpet?

Thats odd. I've never heard of anyone running stiffer springs in the rear than the front either for foam or rubber, asphalt or carpet...

Stiffest spring I have run in the rear on my TC5 is Gold..... No way would any of the setups I've tried want a harder rear than that.

Carpet with Foams I start on Purple Front / Blue Rear (as per the Snowbirds setup), Carpet with Rubber Blue Front / Silver Rear, and outdoors usually something like Gold front / Blue Rear - although I have tried Red front / Gold rear on a very high grip smooth track. Don't quite get how you are managing to make a 30lb rear spring work!

sorry peoples I'm so fucking confused on these colour codes!

I've used coppers in the rear and silvers in the front for my tc3 and it worked like a chram.

NOW i use gold front and silver rear and it hanldes so good. but i know for my own setups that a car that doesn't handle should go stiffer in the rear.

i think it deprends on temps and tired and surface. OTHER then springs and oil.

but i know thiker oil in hot weather works good also

Ask for priority mail shipping; much cheaper

Larry also has the bumpers in stock; website is not current...

who would I talk to(email) at Associated about submitting a product upgrade? I have an great idea for a new CVD setup that should work in all off-road and touring applications. The design goal was to reduce wear and reduce cost when the racer had to replace worn parts.
