Wrong.
6mm gold plated bullet connectors. Less resistance then equal length 12g wire.

Hey Guys. Any of you played with the TC5R enough to know of a decent setup for medium to high traction bumpy asphalt surface? I saw a post saying the kit setup worked pretty well, but also saw setup sheets online for a number of the team guys, so wondering if anyone had any feedback?

Thanks for any responses.

One of the 07 Reedy race setups should be a good starting point.

well i know from other tc's I've had that using the inner holes on the shock towers (longer link) will offer better traction on bumpy serface but this is more important on the rear of the car.

but i can't be for sure because I'm getting my tc5 soon

Rick's setup sheet found here is a outdoor asphault setup for a track that was considered bumpy (NATs).

Default Getting back into Racing

I have recently decided to get back into racing after a 15 year hiatus. I raced an AE LTO Oval car that did ok back in the day and have recently decided to pickup a TC5 for road course racing.

This thread and site are great for getting up to speed with the technology again. It would have been nice to have a site like this back in the day as everything I learned was from constantly pestering the local hobby shop guy with questions. This long thread is giving me all kinds of ideas for quick fixes and upgrades. Thanks to all who have contributed.

p.s. I can't run brushless or LiPo's in the local Sportman class but I already bought one of VernDog's tray's for when I move to a class that allows the technology. Nice work man!
