My point exactly, the TC3 was a fresh design that was kicking ass at every race it went to.

Please stop the flaming of AE. It doesn't do anyone good, nor does it reflect their achievements in the TC world.

Unless a patent has been infringed upon, any TC manufacturer that decides to use a proven chassis design element should be respected for making a practical decision.

I'm sure each company improves upon each elements design with their own ingenuity.

The American car industry hasn't come up with a single creative or fresh design in the last 16 years...LOL Guess you are the expert.

The TC3 was not a FRESH design, it was an evolution of the Tamiya TA01.

Do a search, I'm sure you'll find this exact argument in about 4 different places...

Actually, the original 12L was designed in 1988. Although it's been updated several times, the basic design is the same.

Trivia: Anybody know what the "L" stands for?

Just give me my AE belt car! I don't care what it looks like or who copied who!

OK,

For all of you that say it looks like all of the other cars out there do not buy the kit and keep your current cars. To all the loyal AE fans who will buy the kit, just beat them on the track enough said

BBSpence,

Are you coming back to the AE team? drop me a line

Thanks

The point is any car out there will look similar to something else. There are very subtle differences between a "bad" car and a "good" car. My latest car is an X-Ray but if the new AE car looks good I'll probably buy it.
