Hey Guys,
I am running foam 19t on carpet and it seems all I can get to is 23.9 or very low 24.0 FDR. The motor can not seem to take much more than those numbers. With out burning the brushes.
Does that sound right?
The TC5 rocks and right now I could not be happier with the ROAR Regionals coming this weekend.
Thanks and God Bless

What is everyone using for a front bumper on their TC5? Just assembled my first TC and everyone at my local track said get a new bumper as the stock one won't provide to much protection.

I'm one of the only TC5's at my track.

Any suggestions?

I would like to know what others are using too. The bumper does seem to come up a little short to protect the wheels during a crash. I am quickly amassing left hand side hubs and other front end parts since I always seem to break the right hand stuff at my local track.

I have the PDub bumper on my car. I like it so far.

I am not easy on my front bumper AT ALL and I have found that the P-Dub bumper to be a life saver when it comes to breaking parts. In fact, I broke a pipe in half and only cracked the bumper a little

cefx 30050 Associated TC5 Kydex Bumper - the hard plastic bumpers usually reduce breakage about 98%

Looking for suggestions for gearing at this track using a 10.5 or 13.5 brushless/lipo combo. I'm not sure if I should go with 48 or 64 pitch? If I go 48 and use the 87 spur where should I be?

with 64 pitch gears, a 40/100 will put you at exctly 5.0. This is where I am geared currently and like the overall feel. This seems to be a good starting point for the 13.5's and I am sure a simaller FDR would be fine for a 10.5. Just keep in mind that you want your temps in the 165-170 range after a 5 minute run.
