Down here we race on a parking lot asphalt surface. They resurfaced it a few months ago so we have med/high grip. It is a little bumpy in some spots. Where we race there very few cars that park there so we dont have to worry about oil and stuff like that. We use grape soda for track spray and it works great and lasts all day long on the track. I can't wait to race it for the start of the new season. Jan. 5th. Here is a video that one of the guys down here does from time to time. That way you guys can see what i'm talking about.

Our track is also asphalt with a few bumps and we use grape soda as well. I'd start with Gold/blue. I don't run sway bars either

for most rubber tire racing...the ticket is to run no foam at all(0-25% rebound)

well its been a little while but im back into racing strong now, here is the q? As of now i running a little diffrent then out of the box but not by much Im running gold springs in the rear and copper up front, stock oil, pistons, foam inserts ect. If I run silver springs in the rear I should get more side bite with less high speed steering? I have a big sweeper at the local and if i stay into the throttle i get a slight push...So i changed them from blue to silver, it got worse so i went to golds and it helped?

Hex Spacing is a term used when adding a washer type spacer( shim) that is almost the same diameter of the hex itself. I know tamiya makes them as well as others company's. All you do is just put it on the axel before you put the tires on. It is a simple way of lengthening the front width of the car.

They come in different sizes. Basically a larger shim . I will post some pics so you can see what i am talking about.

Hey guys, I was doing some experimenting with this car and was driving it really hard. My local shop has no TC5 parts yet and I snapped a C-Hub. I don't do mail order. I was wondering if anyone knew another c hub that might fit. Hot bodies, Corally? I've already tried X Ray. Maybe even TC4 parts might wok?

Thanks guys.

TC4 caster blocks would work best and there would just be minimal dremeling . And if memory serves best you might have to drill out the hole for the hidge pin cause they are different sizes. A fellow racer runs these on his car and i believe this is all he does to them.

He will prob be able to give you a how to later on today
