How badly outclassed will a well set-up TC3 be vs the TC4 or TC5? Other 'current' cars?

I had an IRS TC3 and now i have a Team TC4 and i liked the way the tc4 handled better than the tc3. I started my TC4 with the bumpy setup off the TC3 and went from there. I didn't have to change much.It is smoother on the straights and cornering. The Tc5 is a whole other world. I drove a freind of mine and i shaved almost 2 seconds off my lap times. The car came right to me and my style of driving. I know the set up on the tc5 will be more complex that the tc4. Theres alot of setups on this thread for different tracks and conditions.

Just go to any big box stores and pick up 4 electronic postage scales. They are about $20 each. Some might have found them elsewhere for cheaper but that is an alternative.

Default Ride Height / Droop

I'm used to offroad where ride height is set with shock preload. Is it the same in TC?

When the setup sheets (TC5) say droop set on top of ride height what do they mean?

Please provide a brief explanation of the ride ht. and droop setting process.

THANK YOU!

I don't think it will be very outclassed considering they still make parts for the tc3 and tc4. when it comes to racing though, you don't see a lot of tc3's at my track. people still have tc3's because it's still a good car for driving for fun and racing.
