PAR8050 or PAR 8053

The 8053 is for the T2.

Thanks!

Just a couple fo tuning questions for those in the know.

Whats the difference in handling between gaining 3 deg rear toe in by
1: Using the inboard shims only (3 deg)
2: Using 2, 1 deg shims in board and using the 1 deg hub

Handling differences between having inboard front toe out and none?

Keep in mind Im running Modified, asphalt with the ITF chassis and Top Plate.

Cheers
Aaron

EA
I got ahold of them and have a set of the 4 degs. coming. There was a slight mod they had to make to the hubs, but this first batch EA is refering to is ready for sale....and there aren't many made yet, so snooze and loose. Sounds like they may be a ways off from actual production. Not for the shy at $50.00 per pair...but hell it's racing.

I'll report back findings with some pics in a week or so.

I use Jaco's 2-stage 26mm foams that came out last year. The prisms are their newest tire but I want to use my old ones up first. I believe you can still order the 26mm.

Aaron, best thing to do is try it yourself, the front toe you can do with parts in the kit, it will give you a more aggressive feel to your steering, how much and when will depend on the rest of the setup, also remember in shortens the wheelbase so try a few different wheelbases.

Rear hubs, as I haven't tried this, I asked Anthony A, what he told me was inboard toe helps add to rear grip mid corner and exiting, and outboard is more into the corner, I could have these around the wrong way it was a couple of months ago.

Main thing to do is try things, some setup changes suit your driving style better than others.

if you are running 64 pitch a 100 tooth spur and a 35 tooth pinion it will put you at 5.71 right in the ball park for the larrys track
let me know if that works out

Default Foam vs. Rubber Tires

My local track's touring car season opens in April or May next year. This will be my first year there. Its an outdoor asphalt road course and from talking with the track owner it seems most people are running foams. Seems like a waste of money to me to burn up a set of tires in one day. I like to run rubber on asphalt but I'm afraid rubber won't be able to keep up with the foams. Any ideas or comments.

Thanks John,

I havent had a car with different hubs available as this has, so I was a little unsure as to their effect.

Im happy with the car overall, and i certainly dont need to gain anymore steering. I found out I have been running with only 2 deg rear toe, by mistake, so Im going to try the 1 deg hubs and see what it does.

Thanks again for the help

Cheers
Aaron
