Default anyone try

hey there guys...just a quick question.
has anyone tried to install the Yokomo hard arms...they are super strong...I don't have any of my Yok parts anymore but it appears that it might work.
I'm figuring since the diff pulley look identical to the Yok BD pulleys and the BD belts fit...there might be a chance to stiffen the car up for carpet.

on another note...does anyone have an extra standard chassis they want to get rid of ..please PM if you do we might be able to make a deal.

thanks

Corally blades will woork and Xray multidiff

For you guys that wants more stiff frontarms/hubs try Tamiya 415 arms/hubs

Try corally blades they are the cloasest you can get to AE blades, I know some xray drivers put their blades in boliling water for 5 sec and then under coldwater to make them harder

One of the dogbone pins that go into the diff outdrives has snapped off and im just wondering how long i should expect before it eats the diff out. Do you recon it will get through a race of two tomorrow night? Theres no parts nearby that i can get.

hey guys... Anyone know if the 64p equivalent will fit in the tc5? Worried about motor clearance. Anyone here running 19turn brushed? What hearing are you using? I need to use a taller spur for more torque on our small/medium track.

Now this is something that could drastically improve the TC5, the Xray diffs.

I am at about a 36 tooth pinion with a 118T Xray Spur and I could still gear up a tooth or two (tight carpet track)

Did you have to use a lot of shims to make it fit?

Default HD Front Bumper

Anyone using a wider front bumper to better protect the front wheels?

If so, what part is it, who makes it?

Thanks!

I use the Parma X-ray hard foam bumper.....you only need to make the center hole for the stock plastic bumper brace and then shape it to fit your body. After I installed this I have broken far less things. Some people have used a Kydex bumpers that seem to work well.
