Roly - The pic you linked to has been floating around the internet for years. Its not the AE prototype. The AE proto has 2 belts.

Jiml,

As long as this pushes the belt car to come out I am all for it.

AE is always trying to develop the best cars out there and I think the new belt car will be just as good if not better then the TC4. I have a little guy at home and he will be getting my FT TC4 once the new car comes out.

As for the Hobby shops their is a limited qty of the kits so I think they will be OK.

Kevin, I agree, but it's not like Associated to cut the nuts off a car like this. This has the potential of putting a bad taste in people.

Jiml,

I can see them wanting to blow out some of the stock, because people are going to want the belt car. So if this allows people to pick a FT TC4 cheap and run it in stock/19t then that would be sweet. So the belt car could be used for Mod or 19t (if it is as fast I think it will be then maybe stock)

I am sure they will continue to support the FT TC4 in parts as well.

The tc4 tub car is already their rtr i dont think yjeu will make the ft the next rtr just because of the durability factor.he tub car is almost industructable. I know i raced one when it first came out and i beat the snot out of it and it came back for more.

Thank you for answering my question. Adrian probably just misread the post. No need to get testy.
