is there an aluminum spur gear flange available for this car! That cheap peice of crap plastic is warped and it makes it look like the spur is warped. Thats probably why people are striping spur gears.

My is fine, most likely you got the motor too hot so it melted it. So yea, an alu part there would be really nice.

118 degrees? I dont believe that was the problem. If it is, this things gone. I have mixed feelings about this car already. This problem dont help

Convikt check that you have the 5mm screws in the spur holder if you ave 6mm and tighten them all the way you will warp the assembly. It is an easy mistake to make and does not show up on a quick look

and/or if you have changed to a different brand of spur, the center may be thinnier.. making the 5s too long as well. gee, ask me how i know...
