I've been running a Novak GTB with SS13.5 BL motor. My setup is using a 104 spur, 44 pinion = 4.72 FDR. Post-Race motor temps are in the low 140F's, no fan on the speedo with temps in the 120F's.

Hey everyone, I just got my first on-road RC last week, a TC5. The insructions were not much help, fortunately I have previous RC off-road experience. The only bad thing about the kit is that they forgot to include one of the upper shock mounts. They shipped it out free of charge but, it's taking forever. Aside from that the kit is impressive. I can't wait to hit the track.

I buy plenty from these guys and they have the one way and outdrives and pulley. Add it all up and it really is only a few $$ more then the kit.

You'll need...

ASC31177
ASC31169

TC5 One Way

Better hurry...their going fast!

Guys ...

Im still deciding about which electric touring to get between :

- TC5
- Serpent S400
- Team Magic E4

This will be for 19T class with 10.5 brushless system and normal NiMH cells pack. I would like to know wich pros and cons you think the TC5 have, and which extra parts i have to order on the first time in order to be fully competitive ...

thanks,

Pat

The reason why I went with a TC5 is because of parts availability and part cost.

Yea, it runs good, plenty fast for stock racing.

Why not add the xray t2 to your list? Corally is pretty expensive but, the quality is awsome. I'm not familiar with the E4 but, the TC5 and serpent are great kits.

the serpent just came out and the Team Magic car isn't released yet (I think) so you won't be able to compare the three just yet. I have been somewhat of a car slut (no comment from any of you) and I can tell you that for the price you can't beat what you get out of the TC5. The car gets better everytime I race it. Besides.....AE is just like McDonalds....there's always parts on every corner

i think Starbucks at every corner is a better example. and its not "car slut", its "chassis aficionado".

Thanks Verndog,
I checked in there a couple of days ago and there was nothing. I think I now got the last one.

Cheers
