Still waiting for parts to arrive. Ace Hobbies shipped them out today. (chassis and rr hubs are the main things I am waiting for) I am using Xray springs as I am missing the gold AE springs.

I have in the meantime made a 'prototype JRXS' type spool. It seems to be holding up to mod racing quite nicely (brushless). Will do more testing in racing on the weekend and report back.

I will also post pics of the car (properly balanced from left to right) later tonite.

- Leonard.

Leonard can you email me or tell me where you got the setup sheet in a file like that? I want to put my setup on one and post it here.

Thanks
EA

Hi Eric,

Check your PM. And just to let everyone know......I did not design this setup sheet. It was kindly given to me by Rick H. So thanks must go to him and the AE team. (its a excel spreadsheet).

- Leonard.

Anyway, my question is, how much difference does the rebound stroke effect setup? Is it worth the time and effort to try different bladders and foams to change the rebound?
I understand the kit was targeted towards carpet, so I was thinking maybe thinner bladders and softer foams might be better for asphalt. But I don't know. Any input from factory and team drivers would be welcome, Thanks
Chance, you can take out the larger of the two foams inside the shock to take away some of the fast rebound. The bladder will still stay in place just fine. When you remove the larger foam and leave the small one, if you have no air in the shock you should notice about 50-75% rebound. See ya this summer.

Have you slept yet Leonard? Looks like you've been posting on here all night. Good Job! Thanks for sharing all your set up tips with the tc5. We'll all be checking that thing out on Sunday at the Sunny Coast.
