Also whats with the cam holder B with the holes in it? There is no mention of it anywhere in the manual.

Corey
The 2nd set of holders is for low or high diff location. The higher the diff mount the more traction that end of the car will have. That is something else that was left out of the manual that I think will be addressed in the 2nd batch of kits.

I havent checked but you can probably get a 120 on it very easy and maybe up to a 124 but might run into problems getting big enough pinion on the motor with them that large. A 116 is the same size as the stock 87 tooth spur that comes with it.

Corey-
I can drop off my XRAY T2'007 instruction/setup manual and you could use that to fine tune the TTR T2 (aka TC5)?

It is a friend of Coreys and the joke was directed at him for he takes it well. We get on each other all the time about our cars, no offense meant to be taken by others, just friendly BS. It really is no different when Xray guys come over and make comments on the Type R thread, it is all in fun.

Thanks dave! Where were you last Saturday? We had a lot of fun. Had full classes of stock, 19t, nitro, 18r, even 5 or 6 K cars.

You going to be around this saturday? We are racing again.

Corey

P.S. - My car is put together minus electronics. I will get those this week.

I stayed out waaay to late with the family on Friday (Sat.) and slept through the alarm. No excuse though. I would have gotten there just after 10:30. I'll try to make it on Sat. I'll be coming back from California friday evening. I'll try and stop by the shop to take a closer look at your TC5.

Hi Warwick,

This is my latest setup on the TC5. It is still a work in progress. But the setup is easy to drive at Brendale - QLD, Australia (2006 Nitro Worlds track) in med/low grip conditions with no tire additive (all additives banned) and old rubber (last years QLD titles control tire) - has plenty of steering and rear end grip.

Still waiting for parts to arrive. Ace Hobbies shipped them out today. (chassis and rr hubs are the main things I am waiting for) I am using Xray springs as I am missing the gold AE springs.

I have in the meantime made a 'prototype JRXS' type spool. It seems to be holding up to mod racing quite nicely (brushless). Will do more testing in racing on the weekend and report back.

I will also post pics of the car (properly balanced from left to right) later tonite.

- Leonard.
