I was wondering if anyone is running a Novak 13.5 BL system. What FDR do you think would work on a small technical track on asphalt.

Thanks!

No more tamiya, The car was awesome, but getting parts was more difficult than it was worth.
Usually had to order from 2 or 3 different vendors to get everything I needed.
Plus I got tired of the belt breaking all the time

Thanks in advance,

Juan,

The TC5 will come ready for carpet just build it as per the instructions and add foam.

Mike Ivy, Brad Zeldin and myself will all be running them at Horsham this winter. If you need help let us know.

If you are looking for a kit call Brad at his shop 215 672-5200. I am sure he can get you one.

Coach,

Sounds like you had a good run in the main.

Did everyone get the yellow paper with the manual updates on it for the diff cam adjustments in their kits?

I set the cams for the diffs to what it said to do and the belts seem very tight from what I'm used to.

On adjusting belt tension..... adjusting the cams so that the tabs move outward toward the end of the car will loosen the belt, towards the center of the car will tighten the belt.

I noticed the shocks have a lot of rebound compared to the old shocks when fitted with the VCS2 caps. I'm thinking it's just the difference between the new single o-ring verses the older dual o-ring setup. But it also felt like the foam and bladders in the new shocks were more firm than the ones in the VCS2 kit, this would make for a stonger rebound stroke also...
Anyway, my question is, how much difference does the rebound stroke effect setup? Is it worth the time and effort to try different bladders and foams to change the rebound?
I understand the kit was targeted towards carpet, so I was thinking maybe thinner bladders and softer foams might be better for asphalt. But I don't know. Any input from factory and team drivers would be welcome, Thanks
