Thanks for the link. I really like these statements:

"Craig using a pre-production kit rather than the prototype version"

"he chose to park up and wait for the second final." - Confidence!!!

"Craig was clearly the quicker of the two" - Fantastic, considering he was competing against the current world champ!!!!

Well done Craig. Any links to the set up sheets?

Warwick.

Car looks real nice. I always thought the FTTC4 pics on the website didnt do it justice. I had a friend who had one and I thought it looked great.
The TC5 looks sharp. I think the pics on the link look way better than the ones on AE's website.

my feelings are
`it does look like a Yokomo BD though` ,by looking at the pics
but i expect deep down beyond the layers it is different

i have a FK04 at the mo!!,(i like a lot) but this TC5 could sway me ,i had one of the very first TC3 in the uk in my area liked it alot ,didn`t bother with tc4 since i thought it was made just to make money for AE & not give better track performance

just make sure the spares are around when car is out ,unlike the type-R

see what i can find out re;;setup sheets from that race meet

just bear in mind the CML write up make it sounds like it won the meeting & left the cyclones & BD`s & T2`s for dust

in truth very very tight at the top one little mistake is all it needs & the other cars were holding there own

but it makes a nice change to see AE up there now

next up get a more 'normal ' driver to use it to see how it is

From my reading of the CML review, although it said that Craig was clearly faster, it also said that he won the final only after Andy lost drive. I often think that the guy in front looks slower than the guy in second due to the pressure being put on and the desire not to wreck. You're in an advantage position because you can protect you're lead to some degree. I don't mean any disrespect I agree with your statements.

I also agree with the "get a more normal driver" I can't wait for that more normal driver to be me

Apparently spares wont be out for a few days after the release, but that isn't bad.

From what I can see from Craig's car he was running the Aluminum Front Out Drives (SWEEET) But, I am not sure if he was running a spool, one way or dual diffs. Maybe Brent or Rick can shed some light on the set up.

Spares should be out very soon after the car. But the only thing I have broken on mine is a caster block. Which you can use a TC4 one to get by. Also I must mention that I had a very small foam front bumper on it. With a normal size one or a P-dub bumper I dont think breakage will be an issue at all!
