can somone explain this real quick , im using 5mv for the ib cells 3800 and there getting pretty hot at the end , im using ice charger , at 6 amp charge and there almost to hot to touch ?

Go down to 2 or 3. The cells should peak at around 125.

You need to measure the temp at peak, should be in the 125F degree area.
If its higher Than 130F lower the threshold to .03.
Or the safer option start at the lowest setting your charger will accept and temp it at peak. If lower than 125F slowly raise the threshold until they are peaking at the correct temperature.

Exessive heat will kill your batts quicker than anything
