Default Need advice on brushless motors

I've seen guys using 540 and 380 sized motors..besides the obvious size difference...what are the difference? I've seen a guy placed a 380 sized brushless motor in his 4wd buggy and it's pretty darn fast..so if i wanna get one for my 4wd buggy or any other 1/10 offroad kits..should i go for the 540 or 380? Thanks guys.

380 motors are 1/18 cars. If you are using a 1/10 you should use 540. The 380 motors wouldn't have the same amount of torque.
