Hate to hear about this kind of thing, Just got a call from Billy Easton and he wanted to get this out asap. Bob Novaks' truck got stolen yesterday after the race while they were at a restaurant. The truck's been found stripped to nothing. ALL of Billy's, Andy Swanson, Steve Weiss, Novak's and some other guys race, and personal stuff is all gone. If anyone see's or hears anything please call the police.

My brother stayed at the Comfort Inn, "Official Race Hotel" for the ROAR Nats, and the cleaning lady cleaned out his $$ he had in the room instead of just the sheets. She waited until Saturday to do it so it would not be noticed until early Sunday check out. Since he was sharing a room with two others and they paid him cash and he used his CC, she probanly earned an extra months pay in one day. BTW - she went through all the drawers and closed bags as it was hidden. Sounds like the locals were looking forward to this race to help themselves at the expense of the racers.

...ROAR sees fit to publish, in effect, a "travelers advisory" for US racers planning to attend the IFMAR Off-road gas Worlds in Jakarta on their site but completely failed to warn anyone about their own National Championships in Stockton, CA right here in the good 'ol USofA.

Hope the culprits end up in a "stupid criminals" segment on Leno and you guys get your stuff back.

Doseck got his van stolen in Columbus right after packing all if his stuff in to go home. Luckily the guy that stole it didnt know what all was in there and the only thing that was wrong was his antenna on his 12th scale was broken. What idiots.....

I think the people that got Dosie's van only took it for emergency transportation. They drove it to Children's Hospital across town, and they really didn't touch anything inside. It was a really weird situation.
