Depends on the track, but red pos, grn neg is a good place to start.

Its a large outdoor fast track.

With regards to the make of the springs who are they made by or are they all made by Trinity?
And what other colours are there?

They ar emade buy Trinity, the also make purple, which are their stiffist spring. many manufatures make quality springs, including Orion and Reedy. Run the search thread tool and I am certain you will find a motor thread that will answer most of you motor spring questions.
