That's special Joey. Especially coming from a guy who CAN drive.

Now looks like rain this weekend. That gives me more time to hit the hobby shops.

steve, bob, andrew, and billy..

I will go by the Napa and Concord flea markets this weekend to see if I spot anything.. I know what its like getting stuff ripped off.

Do you have a pic of bobs truck so we can see the wheels?.. most likely the wheels is what got these crooks interested in the truck.

If somebody can cruise the oakland flkee market and check it out it would be good too.

the RC stuff will likely show up the other stuf comptures etc are hard to trace..

we'll keep an eye out for sure.

That's what insurance is for. Home owners, or the business insurance should pay for everything.

Billy lives in an apartment, he has no insurance for this. I hope Bob gets it covered under his home owners insurance.

Default Flyers out

Steve, Andrew, Billy and Bob,

I now have over 300 flyers distributed to the major r/c oriented hobby shops in the SF Bay Area (only missing North Bay). All the equipment information about your cars, chargers, radio equipment, transponders (with numbers), etc. fit onto a double-sided page per your information posted on this thread.

By the time the outdoor season starts up here in NorCal, I should have an easy-to-reference 'cheat sheet' with all your transponder numbers out to the track operators.

Sorry Bob, I didn't know what your losses were.

Fingers crossed...

Bill

You can get renters insurance too. Its only 125.00 or so a year for 40,000 coverage.

Im one of the manager's of HobbyTown USA in Fremont and we just got a flyer of all the items that were taken out of the truck. We are aware of the situation and we will keep our eyes and ears open for any suspicious activity in regards to the stolen items that may possibly come through our store. We also get alot of traffic that comes through the store from customers coming from these areas: Stockton, Modesto, Tracy, etc....... I will also fax a flyer to our sister store in Tracy, Cal. ( HobbyTown USA ) and let them know about what happened. Hopefully, with all the hobbyshops located in the bayarea that are aware of the situation, maybe we all can work together and catch these thieves that we dread so much .

Yes Roger. That is the flyer I dropped off with Kathy D earlier this week.

Your plan will provide even more coverage. Many thanks for your help. Bill

Thanks so much for all your help with all of this guys!!

It's really nice to see the good side of humanity come out every so often

Many many many thanks even if nothing comes of all your labors in trying to help us recover our equipment or bring those responsible to justice!

It is nice to have someone do something!
