hi does anyone know if the epic branded IB4200 cells with the red and black heatshrink have been submitted for approval to the brca and if so what the outcome is???

They aren't on the 2006 list, so i assume they weren't submitted by the deadline date.

As they were not submitted by the deadline they are not on the list.
Intellect, Yokomo and VTEC variations are though.
If you want to know more then go to the RaceChat site, there are a couple of threads on them.

I thought it didn't matter who matched the cells as long as someone submitted the IB4200 cell. as far as i know both the IB4200 and the GP4300 cells have been submitted so you can buy either cell from any matcher.
(Don't take my word for it, just what i read on racecrap!)

yes thats correct with regards to the different matchers putting there own sticker on it aslong as its the same cell however if the actual heatshrink is changed then it has to be resubmitted i believe

The only new Epic cells on the list are:-
Epic EP3800ESP - Heatshrink Black with Red/ White ‘toothed’ edges. Epic in Red.
3800 in Yellow.
No 3600 or 4200, so can't have been submitted.

The 4200s on the list are:-
1)Yokomo X4200 IB - Light Blue Heatshrink with Yellow design. Yokomo & ‘Zap-2’ in White. 4200 in Red.

2) Intellect SC-4200 - Heatshrink Blue shades/Yellow star. Intellect in Blue. 4200 in Silver.

3) VTEC SC-4200UP - Heatshrink Off-White, Blue & Silver. VTEC in White on Silver B/Ground. 4200 in Silver. ‘Big-Mama’ in White with Red edging.
