First time out. A shorty and tyres are way past their best, making the car very nose happy. Box set up. The shell didn't stay I great condition for long, kept losing the back end in the sweeper and nosing into the barrier.
New tyres and a full size battery should help (I hope!)

I know I'm a purist, but why put a Seven20 on a FWD chassis?

Unless he has the Krazed Builds prototype 2wd conversion... it is a 4wd car.

Ok, 3 meetings now! Last night the car was brilliant. I'm still getting used to it and the first race of the evening I was letting off in the sweeper and the back was getting light (again). I learnt to line up and keep power on, easily turning inside other cars if needed. Really enjoyed the racing, especially in the final. TC seems to have such bad press, no idea why, it's great, close racing.

Stop the weight from leaving the rear may help in that area.
Keeping the power on kept the weight on the rear wheels probably.

As I had my Mi7 for a while, and helped by a big crash at the end of the straight I build a new kit for my first national race this year:
As my chassis, shocktower, topdeck and some small parts where broken in the crash i rebuild the car on the rear motor chassis to use as a rain car. The pivot ball suspension also survived the crash with only a few scratches and a plastic insert that got pulled out.
As we had 2 wet qualifiers during the first race i could try out the rain car. I used the same base setup as my mid motor dry car and disconnected the front stabilizer. The car went really well in the rain and i could finish my qualifiers without any problems.
