The Reedy quad-mag is a big com motor.. Will the V2 endbell work with it? I have a couple Team Brood blueprinted Orion Element 19's. The maintenence is considerably less than with the laydown brushes of the Reedy. Would probably be a good combo if it works.

Orion Endbell on a Reedy Can & Arm would be a Hybrid motor, which is illegal for most racing. Check your local rules first if you're racing before doing it.

for the spec 19T, the V2 endbell will not fit.

the only combination possible is a PT (quad mag) motor with the V2 enbell

I know that orion makes conversion kits which is probably what he is talking about, and the reedy one may be for big comm motors but think I recall it saying that it wasnt, check out the orion site.

AE Racer,
is Exactly about the conversion kit from Orion (there are two kinds of kit for EPIC e TOP base) that I’m considering……. I just read some point about the conversion for Stock and 19T, based on that I’m interesting, but before buy it I would like to know if everyone has been used it…..

vOrtex,
I know that it’s outlaw but at my race club there are no restriction to it, the only restriction that we has is the amature.

Thanks all,

sampaio

You will have less power with the V2 endbell.

The V2 endbell is designed to provide a standup style of brush overlap. The 9mm comm of the Reedy needs more overlap and that's why it uses a laydown hood and would have less power with the V2 endbell.

The big comm will not fit up into the endbell, as the brushhods ride much closer to the comm....

You would have to use an element arm (same arm techincally, just smaller comm).....
