mine is:
-making your wife late for her hair appointment because you are testing your FDR on your block.

-saying "its only one more screw" 20 screws ago...(and you still have 5 left)

Realizing that RC time is slower than Football time.... and then shrugging it off.

1 hour of football = 3 1/2 hours of real time.

1 hour of RC time = 2 hours of football time... at least.

Usually only get in about 3 hours of RC time a week.

You are willing to stay at your LHS for more than 6 hours just to race a total of 20 minutes.

You spent more money on your current RC car than your 1:1 car.

Amongst other things.
My batterys are kept in a thick plastic box, which is then put into a metal flight/laptop case, but I still check they are all well secured before a long journey, but only if I have an instinct that something is not right.

99% of the time there has been no problem at all, 1% they looked pretty close to each other, but not touching.

Roll on getting some li-po's I guess, lol....

Lol, I've been doing this for a few years, kart transponder, car transponders, don't have any PT's for my RC's yet, but it is handy.

Calling the number by accident gets the usual "Please verify the number, blah blah blah..." Texting them can be expensive and weird though

Hmm... if it is, that might explain why getting through airport security has been hit or miss for me lately to get through on the first try.

You might be addicted to R/C when, and don't laugh, when you are putting down your social security number for a background check at work and you accidently put down your transponder number.

This actually did happen and almost did not qualify for my job.

You know you are addicted to r/c when you take your r/c car to work to do "work" on it (been there )...

boss is cool with it unless there is "work" to do

You know you're an addict when you "pitch a tent" while racing after your car is dialed-in to your track.
